UXswitch
Recruitment is broken. My vision was to make recruitment more human and efficient by matching a designers' job wish list (remit, money & location) with only the top UX recruiters and employers (based on their understanding of UX, design community involvement & treatment of designers with integrity). I knew that job descriptions had to be more intelligible and appealing, and that career advice should be borne out of real experience rather than opinion. This vision was realised through UXswitch.com.
Thousands of designers have signed up worldwide, while hand-picked employers and recruiters such as booking.com, CarMax and Google have used the service to meet those designers. UXswitch.com is profitable and is #1 on Google for ‘UX career advice’ and has been #2 for ‘UX jobs’.
I was responsible for the end-to-end envisioning and production of UXswitch, everything from initial ideation and product roadmap to low level interaction design and managing developers.
